ABO Learning

ABO Learning is the umbrella term for all events run by the Association of British Orchestras with professional development at their core.  Central to ABO learning are the training courses currently offered such as Brass Tacks and occasional opportunities for middle and senior managers from people management and presentation skills to organisational strategy and creative managing.  If there are gaps you have identified in your training that you feel are not sufficiently met by other local or national training providers, please let the ABO know.
 
ABO Learning also includes the annual conference, regular symposia and briefing events and the twice-yearly specialist manager meetings, all of which broaden your knowledge base, develop a range of skills and encourage networking.  These, along with mentoring opportunities, can form part of your continuing professional development.
