Awards

The ABO has a long history of rewarding best practice in the orchestral sector through various annual awards. There are currently three categories of awards:

•    ABO Award, presented annually to the individual or institution considered by the membership to have made         the most important contribution to the orchestral life of the UK
•    ABO/RPS Salomon Award, celebrating the ‘unsung heroes' of orchestral life, the orchestral players that make         our orchestras great
•    ABO/Rhinegold Awards for Orchestra Manager, Concert Hall Manager and Artist Manager of the Year
