IMG Artists is recruiting for Assistant Artist Managers and Senior Assistant Artist Managers in our London office. The successful candidates will work with our Conductors and Instrumentalists and/or Vocal Artist Managers.

Location: London SE1 – we operate a hybrid working structure with at least 2 weekdays worked from the office, in consultation with the rest of the team.

Overall Purpose
The Assistant Artist Manager role entails managing the day-to-day administration enabling the Artist Managers to develop the careers of Artists. In addition, the Senior Assistant Artist Manager would have further responsibility for select artists which may include attendance at sales meetings and trips, booking, crafting of sales materials and closer work with record labels and other media partners.

What You Will Do:
• Maintain an accurate diary for each artist on the IMG Artists scheduling and database system.
• Liaise with promoters to coordinate all logistic support and maintain positive day-to-day contact with the artists.
• Work with PR or record companies to schedule interviews and appearances.
• Produce itineraries for artists.
• Facilitate visas for artists.
• Maintain accurate financial records and facilitate invoicing, liaising with accountants and finance team.
• Review all engagement contracts and process them with the Artist Manager.
• Provide general support to the Artist Manager in their daily work.
• Book travel and accommodation for artists.
• Act as the first point of contact for enquiries from members of the public, promoters and artists themselves.
• Maintain and distribute press materials for each artist.
• Attending concerts and being on hand to deal with possible emergencies.
• Maintain close working relationships with record labels and other media partners.
• Crafting of sales materials in conjunction with Artist Manager.

What We Are Looking For:
Essential:
• Assistant Artist Manager up to one years’ experience in a similar role; Senior Assistant Artist Manager over one years’ experience in a similar role.
• Intelligent and a quick learner with a strong interest in classical music.
• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to multi-task effectively, prioritising where necessary.
• Excellent eye for detail.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Professional and enthusiastic manner and demeanour with a positive approach to work and commitment to providing a high-quality service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• The ability to work on own initiative and to complete projects within specified deadlines without supervision.
• Ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients at all levels, showing a high degree of empathy.

Desirable:
• Qualifications in music (or related subject).
• Languages in addition to English are very beneficial.
