The Community Projects Manager (CPM) is responsible to the Education Director (ED). The CPM is responsible for key aspects of the Hallé Education programme and for specifically devising and instigating new initiatives aimed at widening the Hallé’s reach in communities, particularly those which are underrepresented in our mainstream audience.

Key tasks
• liaising with external agencies for the development of current and future community projects
• acting as a Champion within and outside the organisation for equality, diversity and inclusion across the HALLÉ CONNECT
• providing monitoring and feedback information for projects including providing information to relevant public funders and other stakeholders.
• instigating new projects and schemes aimed at widening the appeal of the Hallé across Greater Manchester communities
• administration of current, future and potential project activities including the preparation and distribution of detailed project schedules to both participants and deliverers, ensuring that planning is thorough and project schedules are maintained
• engaging Hallé musicians and all outside artists (contracts) for these projects.
• ensuring payment of Hallé musicians and other artists in liaison with the Finance Department for relevant projects
• raising relevant Sales invoices with the Finance Department
