The Royal College of Music (RCM) is one of the world's greatest conservatoires. Our excellence was recognised by the 2021 QS World University Rankings, in which we ranked as the top institution for performing arts in the UK for the sixth consecutive year. The RCM also achieved an overall rating of gold for its outstanding teaching and learning provision for undergraduates in the first ever Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).

The RCM Development & Alumni Engagement (DAE) department raises significant funds each year from individuals, companies, charitable trusts and foundations, to support the RCM in its educational and artistic mission. This is an exceptional time to join the RCM as we work towards completion of an ambitious capital project and the realisation of future strategic objectives.
