Freelance Digital Marketing Manager

London Mozart Players is searching for Freelance Digital Marketing Manager to work on a part-time basis to manage the orchestra’s digital channels and to promote the orchestra and its online performances over the coming months.

The successful applicant will have impressive experience of Marketing and PR within the arts sector, as well as an ability to use modest budgets effectively. This is a hands-on role within a small, dedicated team and the successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate success within a similar environment.

Concert halls may be shut, but LMP is open for business and currently has a busy online schedule of initiatives to keep the music playing throughout lockdown. The orchestra is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who has creative flair and experience ideally working within the Arts sector. Working closely with our Marketing Manager, you will be tasked with managing the orchestra’s online output and using its digital channels to publicise the orchestra’s schedule of online, and eventually, their live concert hall performances. You will also assist in the preparation and production of creative content that reflects and promotes the LMP brand, and also be involved in wider discussions about new projects and strategies. Having design skills and video editing capability would be particularly advantageous.

Initially there is a minimum 6-month availability requirement for this role, with potential for a continued working relationship on a freelance basis.

Qualifications / Experience - Key skills
- Experience managing and updating websites via WordPress (knowledge of Spektrix desirable)
- E-marketing comms experience (knowledge of DotMailer is advantageous)
- Experience using social media channels to promote events and increase brand awareness
- Video editing capability (iMovie, Premiere Pro or other)
- Content creation, including copywriting ability
- Experience reporting using Google Analytics
- Basic Graphic and digital design experience – knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop & Illustrator)

Advantageous skills
- Experience using Facebook-live or other live-streaming apps
- Photography
- Experience working within an orchestra or in the classical music industry

Freelance – 2 days a week (working from home)
Daily rate – dependent on experience
