WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND LEARNING

• First point of contact for all operations queries
• Distributing incoming post and preparing & despatch all outgoing post
• Answering the phone and fielding & directing calls as appropriate
• Booking of meeting rooms, set up and clearing away of items needed for meeting
• Ordering stationery and office supplies, keeping check lists up to date
• Arranging couriers & taxis as needed
• Replying to emails from company inbox and forwarding to the correct person when needed
• Manage tea & coffee stocks & ordering as necessary
• Organising all staff meetings
• Coordinating general maintenance & facilities queries with Somerset House
• Liaising with our office furniture provider and IT support
• Coordinating and organising the removal of items from the off-site storage
• Keeping communal areas tidy and presentable
• Any other admin duties that may be required
• Setting up & managing Zoom meetings when required
• Support with arranging company meetings
• Supporting with training and development courses
• Downloading and redacting recruitment applications
• Assist in the production in our monthly colleague newsletter
• Complete induction schedules for new starters
• Meeting interview candidates and documenting their right to work

The next ABO conference will take place in Gateshead,
