Trust and Foundations Manager (part-time)

Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) £28,000 - £30,000 p.a. (pro-rata) Closing date 30 June 2021
Working alongside the Board of Trustees, CEO and Development Manager, the Trust and Foundations Manager will sustain, nurture and grow relationships with Trust and Foundation supporters and prospects. Working with colleagues across the organisation, the postholder will secure income and ensure excellent stewardship, working within agreed priorities. The successful candidate will be organised and resilient, with a good track record in relationship cultivation and management.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to secure and increase funding from Trusts and Foundations for key programmes in line with organisational priorities.
- Meet an annual target in excess of £200,000+ from Trusts and Foundations.
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with supporters, offering consistent, high level and personalised stewardship.
- Identify, research, and create compelling proposals with budgets.
- Maintain existing and co-create new cases for support for a range of initiatives and projects.
- Lead the process of thanking, acknowledgement and reporting to funders, working with colleagues to plan and deliver these on time.
- Regularly review the fundraising strategy including monitoring targets against the prospect pipeline, amending where necessary, and ensure it’s impact and effectiveness.
- Encourage and support Trustees and influencers to take a proactive role in trust and foundation fundraising, together with the CEO.
