Six participants joined the six members of the Find Your Way 2022/23 cohort for a residential leadership training course at Dartington Hall, Totnes, Devon TQ9 6EL from 12noon Thursday 23 to 1.30pm Saturday 25 February 2023.

The three-day course was led by professional coach and mentor, Richard Wigley, Wigley Arts Management and Andy Beaumont, leadership trainer. Additional speakers/trainers were involved in specific areas

• Want to connect with other people in the arts sector and build your support network
• Would benefit from having a confidential, safe and supportive space to explore and discuss things you struggle with
• Want to develop skills in listening, teamwork and coaching’

Criteria for selection

Applicants go through a competitive selection process for the course.

We’re keen to hear from people from Black, Asian and other diverse communities who are currently under- represented in our programme and courses, and in leadership roles in the classical music sector. We welcome applications from Deaf and disabled people. A successful candidate is offered a 50% reduction to the programme fee and the bursary is supported by funding from the ABO Trust.

Cost of the residential course: £900+VAT (ABO members) £1200+VAT (non-ABO members)

• Cost of the course
• Bed and breakfast accommodation at Dartington
• Lunch on Thursday 23, Friday 24 and Saturday 25 February
• Dinner on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 February (new in 2023)

What does it not include?

• Travel to and from Dartington Hall, Totnes, Devon
