Production Technician

Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society £29,283 per annum Closing date 11 April 2025
As the largest music organisation in the city, Liverpool Philharmonic presents over 400 events every year. We’re currently looking for a Production Technician to help bring these concerts to the stage. You’ll be responsible for providing technical advice and services, including designing and operating lighting, sound, audio visual and recording systems. You’ll liaise with clients to identify production specifications, and ensure that events comply with Health and Safety regulations, and meet customer expectations. If you’re an organised problem solver with excellent interpersonal skills and experience of lighting/sound operation within the entertainment industry, this might just be the perfect role for you.

Key Information:
- Salary: £29,283 per annum
- Employment type: Full-time, permanent
- Hours of work: The contracted hours for this post are averaged 42.5 per week over a 17-week period. The pattern for these hours will be irregular due to the need for evening, weekend and bank holiday work.
- Holidays: 26 days (pro-rated) plus bank holidays
- Place of Work: Your main base will be Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, and to provide technical support for Liverpool Philharmonic events in other venues
