Association of British Orchestras

Awards

The ABO has a long history of rewarding best practice in the orchestral sector through annual awards.

There are currently three categories of awards:

  • ABO Award, presented annually to the individual or institution considered by the membership to have made the most important contribution to the orchestral life of the UK.
  • ABO/RPS Salomon Award, celebrating the ‘unsung heroes' of orchestral life, the orchestral players that make our orchestras great.
  • ABO/Classical Music Awards for Orchestra Manager, Concert Hall Manager and Artist Manager of the Year.
