Hanna Madalska-Gayer

Hanna is a public affairs professional with over two decades of experience working in political advocacy and strategic communications.
She joins the ABO with background in the performing arts, working in advocacy and communications for the dance sector for the last 6 years where she collaborated with cultural organisations across the four nations, including with the ABO, in tackling issues facing the sector from Brexit and Covid-19 to cultural education and diversity.
With an international background and fluent in 4 languages, Hanna has a first class honours degree in European Studies from the University of London. She began her career in Brussels and in the European Commission, followed by working for leading international and UK communications consultancies. Hanna served as a Trustee on the board of Akademi South Asian Dance for almost 10 years and has a great personal passion for the performing arts. She trained in classical and contemporary dance and studied the flute and piano in her younger years.
