#AnOrchestraInEverySchool is a national call to ensure access to high-quality music education and creative subjects for all children and young people, investing in music education and skills development. The initiative is part of the ABO’s #MusicThatMovesYou public campaign, which celebrates the impact of UK orchestras in our everyday lives, cultural heritage, communities and economy.
Our aspiration is for every school in the UK to either have an orchestra of its own - however they define that - or access to an orchestra.

Six ways you can support the campaign:
- Find your nearest Orchestra - Download this tool to find orchestras in your region here
- Ask your headteacher what live music making happens in school
- Connect with a leisure-time orchestra or other instrumental group in your local area: Find a Music Group | Making Music
- Find music education providers in your local area - visit Music Mark
- Find out if there are any musicians in your school community
- Share your own examples of the fantastic work that you’re doing with children and young people on social media and tag @aborchestras and #AnOrchestraInEverySchool.
