Association of British Orchestras

Administration Freelance Pool, BBC Proms

BBC PAYE Closing date 24 April 2022
Would you like to be part of a pool of Freelance Administrators to work with our teams supporting the running of the BBC Proms from May - October 2022?

This opportunity requires previous administration experience in a busy office environment. You would be part of a dynamic team that looks after Communications, Marketing, Learning, Publications, Business and Live Events. You will build skills in your chosen area and everyone on the team has a chance to work at events. We will help provide some additional skills for you to enable you to work effectively in our teams and to widen your knowledge of our systems.

Appointment to the Freelance Pool will not entitle candidates to a permanent contract in the BBC, those will have to be applied for in the normal way, and neither does it guarantee work. However, it may lead to consideration for broader freelance opportunities across BBC Proms.

All opportunities offered, as a result of appointment to this talent pool, will be on a Freelance PAYE basis. Rates of pay will be discussed separately.

You could be based at Old Broadcasting House or The Royal Albert Hall in London, you may be able to work from home, or other non-BBC venues outside of London as required.
