As one of the first points of contact for the majority of applicants, the Admissions and Projects Assistant plays a key role in the RCM’s recruitment activities, ensuring prospective students receive a welcoming and efficient service and are well informed and advised from the first enquiry through to enrolment. Additionally, the Admissions and Projects Assistant supports the administration of the RCM’s collaborative projects with external partners, as well as providing more general administrative support for the RCM’s Registry team. We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:

• You should have a practical knowledge of music, preferably of a classical nature
• You should be a confident and engaging communicator, in person, on the phone and in writing
• You should have excellent administrative skills, with the ability to manage a busy a varied workload
• You should have experience of a higher education environment
• Previous experience in a student-facing or customer-focused role is desirable
