Artist Administrator - Internship

Askonas Holt is delighted to be offering two 12 month-internship positions in Artist Management. The aim of our internship programme is to inspire you, give you additional skills and help you realise your potential.

This is a great opportunity to work in Artist Management with amazing colleagues who will make sure you gain the skills and experience to take your career to the next level. The role will support colleagues working across the Conductors, Instrumentalists and Singers departments. We are seeking passionate and committed applicants, who are keen to learn about the classical music world and would welcome the opportunity to be part of our caring and dynamic team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND LEARNING

• General Administrative support (e.g. taking notes at meetings, updating spreadsheets)
• Data entry using our online software: keeping our artist diaries up to date
• Assist with organising schedules for artists including backstage requirements and promotional activities
• Assist with artists’ travel/accommodation/visa requirements
• Assist with purchasing concert/opera tickets
• Updating our website including reviews, biographies and photos
• There will be opportunities to attend some performances in London.
• After 6 months in Artist Management you can request to get experience in other areas of company including finance, marketing and tours and projects.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU

• Performing arts enthusiast, who is keen to experience working in the classical music world
• You will have good computer literacy skills including ideally the use of word and outlook
• Well-organised with strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Eager to learn from the team around you
• Ability to prioritise a workload
• Able to resolve tricky situations calmly and effectively
• A level or equivalent (eg Scottish Higher, International Baccalaureate) qualification.

You will receive a work mobile phone and laptop whilst working at Askonas Holt.

The salary for the position is £23,000 per annum plus enjoy generous benefits, 26 days’ annual leave, a cycle to work scheme, private medical insurance, a paid day off to volunteer and our employee wellbeing programme.
