AV Production Co-ordinator

Royal College of Music £24,089 - £26,278 per annum. Closing date 30 March 2022
JRN: 305-22

Grade 4, £24,089 - £26,278 per annum. Appointments will normally be made to the first point of the grade.

The Royal College of Music (RCM) is one of the world's greatest conservatoires. Our excellence was recognised by the 2021 QS World University Rankings, in which we ranked as the top institution for performing arts in the UK for the sixth consecutive year, and top in Europe for second year running.

Digital technology has become an integral part of our teaching and learning, as well as the business and administration of the College. In order to expand the support we provide to students and external clients, we are looking for an AV Production Co-ordinator to join our Digital & Production team.

Working closely alongside the AV Production Manager, the post holder will plan, schedule and co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of the RCM studio staff and facilities, with a friendly approach and enthusiasm for helping people solve technical problems. They will act as the first point of contact for all studio users, which include students, staff and external clients. An appreciation of classical music and the technology needs of busy musicians would also be advantageous.

Working at our South Kensington campus, primarily on site in the RCM Studio Complex, the post holder will deal with a large range of enquires. From booking in student and commercial studio sessions, to co-ordinating studio staff for our live productions, this is an incredibly varied role and an ideal position for applicants with knowledge of professional sound recording, video or digital production techniques and technologies.

This post is offered on a permanent, full-time basis and is immediately available.
