An exciting full-time opportunity has arisen for an experienced Box Office professional to support our performance programme and events, drive customer experiences and use their expertise to inform future campaigns.

The RCM presents more than 500 events every year and the Box Office acts a central point of contact between staff, students and external bookers. The RCM Box Office sells tickets for the RCM’s two main venues: the 400-seat Concert Hall and 400-seat opera theatre, as well as for other internal and external venues at which RCM performances take place. Two further RCM venues opened to the public in 2021 as part of a large scale development project, as well as the new Museum.

You will be accustomed to prioritising a busy work load and excited at the prospect of working in an environment of unparalleled musical riches and inspiring artistic achievement. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

• Experience of using Spektrix ticketing software.
• Experience of working within a performing arts venue.
• You will be flexible and adaptable to support a variety of ticketed performances both on and off campus.
• You should understand the particular demands of the music performance sector and concert audiences.

This post is offered on a permanent, full-time, basis and is immediately available. The role involves some ad hoc shift, evening and weekend work.
