The Programme Manager leads and delivers a pioneering programme which champions inclusive life-long creativity and aims to improve health and wellbeing through music-making. Projects range from a Recovery Orchestra in Bristol to a family orchestra in Exeter, Dementia friendly and care home concerts, community orchestra events and creative music-making for health and wellbeing with specialist partners such as Bristol Drugs Project and Social Prescribers. As part of a dynamic Head Office team, and collaborating with BSO Associates and community and health partners across the South West, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with creative, community or arts and health project management experience to shape, innovate and drive this vital work supported by the Head of BSO Participate. The role will work sensitively with a range of participant groups of all ages and backgrounds, including families, people experiencing mental health challenges and older people and people living with dementia to deliver both in-person and digital activity. We are looking for someone who is great with people, organised, creative and flexible and passionate about diversity and inclusion in music.
