Chamber Music and Conducting Administrator
Royal Northern College of Music £25,217 to £27,511 per annum Closing date 21 July 2021
The Chamber Music and Conducting Administrator is responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of the college Chamber Music and Conducting programmes, including core teaching, coaching with guest artists and performance opportunities. As a key member of the Ensembles Team, the role works very closely with the Heads of Chamber Music and Head of Conducting.
You will have a music degree or equivalent and a thorough working knowledge of classical music, in particular chamber and orchestral repertoire. Previous experience working in an arts administration environment is essential and you will have proven abilities to be the first point of contact for your work and be able to prioritise within a busy, multi-task environment. A willingness to work flexible hours with limited supervision is essential.
The post will suit a proactive, highly organised administrator with a desire to work effectively alongside students, staff and guest professional artists.
