Choir & Record Label Manager
King’s College, Cambridge Starting at £40,000 - £43,000 depending upon experience Closing date 26 July 2022
We are seeking to appoint to the newly created role of Choir and Record Label Manager to ensure the effective administration of the operational, logistical and commercial life of the King’s College Choir.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Director of Music, dealing with all operational matters necessary for the smooth running of the Choir and its recording label. These include day to day planning and budgetary oversight of our core activities (choral services, concerts & recordings); working closely with the Choir’s agents, Intermusica, as well as liaising with outside bodies (orchestras, promoters, broadcasters, touring partners) and maintaining strong internal relationships within the Chapel Department and the wider College and School.
The ideal candidate for this position will be educated to degree level and have previous experience of music management and/or promotion along with some choral performance experience.
Contract type: Permanent (subject to a six-month probation period), full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexibility in hours available along with the ability to work remotely for at least some of the week)
The start date for this position is ideally Monday 3rd October 2022.
