Communications & Events Administrator
Association of British Orchestras c.£26,000 per annum Closing date 05 May 2023
The Association of British Orchestras (ABO) is the representative body for professional orchestras, youth ensembles and the wider classical music industry in the UK.
We are looking for a Communications & Events Administrator to join our busy and dedicated team.
With a new CEO, this is an exciting time to join the ABO. Every voice counts within our small team as each member of staff plays a vital role in supporting orchestras to respond to the challenges of today and to thrive.

As well as a competitive salary, staff benefits include flexible hybrid working conditions, staff discounts as a tenant of Somerset House in London, where our office is based, a season ticket loan and an Employer Pension contribution. This role is offered as full-time, though we welcome requests for reduced or part time hours.
This post is a hands-on role and would suit someone who is results oriented and eager to make new things happen.
The ABO strives for an orchestral sector that is fully inclusive, representative and reflective of the communities that we serve. We believe that everyone deserves to have the same opportunities at every level in our industry and welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds and perspectives.
If you are a creative self-starter with an interest in music and the performing arts, then we would love to hear from you!
