Concerts Coordinator

London Symphony Orchestra £26,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Closing date 08 April 2022
The London Symphony Orchestra is seeking a highly motivated Concerts Coordinator to work in a busy professional team supporting the Concerts & Recordings Manager with the logistical planning and day-to-day running of all UK concerts.

Salary range: £26,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

KEY DUTIES
• Maintain the Orchestra’s diary and database
• Prepare and distribute the Orchestra’s Schedule and Schedule Updates
• Lead day-to-day liaison with the Barbican Music team (particularly for concert logistics) as well as liaising with other UK venues, artists/artist managers and promoters as necessary
• Create and maintain projects on the Orchestra database and in associated electronic and physical files
• Look after orchestral players’ enquiries
• Provide support in the organisation of the Orchestra’s UK concerts (and recordings as appropriate)
• Prepare and follow-up cost estimates, contracts and invoices for UK concerts
• Regular attendance at concerts as a department representative

ADDITIONAL DUTIES
• Working with other departments to create and help maintain certain projects on the database
• Provide support in other areas as time, training and ability allows

The closing date for applications is 17:00 on Friday 8 April 2022, with interviews taking place on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 April 2022. Ideal start date will be on Monday 23 May 2022, or as soon as possible after that date.
