Concerts & Orchestra Manager
London Mozart Players £27,000 - £31,000 (depending on experience) Closing date 21 August 2022
Do you love working behind the scenes to bring grand artistic visions to life?
London Mozart Players (LMP) is seeking a passionate and proactive Concerts & Orchestra Manager to join our dynamic and close-knit management team. With our concert and event diary rapidly filling up, new artistic partnerships on the horizon and Croydon’s upcoming year as the Borough of Culture in 2023, now is a very exciting time to join us.
Reporting to our Head of Artistic Planning Tegan Eldridge, and Chief Executive Flynn Le Brocq, as Concerts & Orchestra Manager you will be responsible for project managing all of the practical and operational aspects of the orchestra’s performances, and providing key support for the orchestra's members. While Tegan and Flynn will lead on the creative decision-making for our concerts and programmes, you’ll work closely with the Orchestra Fixer (freelance) and Librarian (freelance) to manage the administration of all orchestral activity, acting as the glue that holds all of our plans together and brings our concerts to life.
For full information about the role and job description, and information on how to apply please visit our website. If you would like to have an informal conversation about the role before applying, please send an email to ceri@lmp.org by Tuesday 2 August.
Although the final closing date for applications is 11.59pm on Sunday 21 August 2022, the urgent nature of this vacancy means that we will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis and may close the vacancy ahead of this deadline. In the first instance, suitable candidates will be invited for interview on 11 and 12 August, therefore early applications are strongly encouraged.
