The Royal College of Music (RCM) is one of the world's greatest conservatoires. The RCM wishes to appoint a part-time Creative Careers Centre Administrator. The position is based in the RCM’s flagship careers department – the Creative Careers Centre. The Centre offers a broad range of services for RCM students and graduates, providing external performance opportunities, information, advice, guidance, training, and access to networks as they progress into the professional world. The successful applicant will be responsible for administrating a number of the core career development activities, and a broad range of tasks to support this vital work.
We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:
• You will be an experienced administrator.
• You should have strong communication and organisational skills.
• You should have experience of using databases and have proficient IT skills.
• You should have a strong understanding of the support required for musicians entering the classical music profession.
• You should be able to work efficiently and effectively with staff, students, clients, and venues.
This post is offered on a permanent part-time basis and is available from 31 August 2021.
