Development and Communications Coordinator

This is a new role that will support the Development Director to care for Gabrieli’s supporters, communicate our work to new and existing audiences, and grow our income; enabling us to do more charitable work. There will be scope and flexibility within the role for the successful candidate to develop their skills, according to interest and need.

We hope to recruit someone with:
- A friendly, open manner, comfortable dealing with strangers and proactively contributing to team discussions and activity;
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills;
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills;
- An eye for basic graphic design;
- A strong aptitude for working with different IT programmes, including Microsoft Office products, databases, online graphic design platforms (such as Canva), and ticketing platforms - though training in specific pieces of software will be provided as required;
- An adaptable working approach, with the ability to self-motivate as well as working as part of a close-knit team; and
- Passion for the live music industry and/or participatory arts.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time. 4 days/week also available. Evening and weekend work is expected for events, for which Time Off In Lieu will be given. Office hours are generally 9-5 however some flexibility can be offered in discussion with the line manager.

Holiday: 20 days per annum, plus bank holidays (prorated if part-time contract is negotiated). Additionally, the office closes between Christmas and New Year at the CEO’s discretion and subject to scheduled events

Location: We are a small friendly team and will be pleased to welcome you to work remotely from home, from our office at King’s Place in central London or on a hybrid basis. The role-holder will be required for meetings in London on a regular basis, London-based concerts and development events, and national tours. All necessary tour travel and accommodation expenses will be paid.
