Development Director
Chineke! Foundation Full-time - £45,000 per annum Closing date 17 January 2022
The Chineke! Foundation is seeking a committed and self-motivated Development Director to lead on all fund-raising activities.
The Development Director will increase Chineke!’s funding from all sources, including Trusts and Foundations, Arts Council England, Corporates and Individuals. Reporting to the Manager Director and working as a part of our small, dynamic team of management staff, Chineke!’s Development Director will play a vital role in securing funding for projects including concerts and tours by the Chineke! Orchestra, Chineke! Chamber Ensemble and Chineke! Junior Orchestra, and our Learning & Participation programme. You will work closely with colleagues to gain an in-depth understanding of all projects, including budgets, which will enable you to make applications to carefully targeted potential sources.
You will also devise a Development Strategy which will inform Chineke!’s fundraising activities over the coming five years.
