Development Manager

The National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain is seeking a Development Manager to join our ambitious and growing Development Team.
The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial and organised individual with exceptional relationship management and writing skills.
With the implementation of NYO’s new 10-year ‘Open Up’ strategy, which has a strong focus on youth voice, creativity and inclusion, we believe that there is huge scope to grow our philanthropic community and are seeking a Development Manager who can grow relationships creatively, prepare excellent written proposals and reports, and deliver exceptional donor engagement events.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing charity, which has won Best Supporter Experience at the Institute of Fundraising Awards, and the Inclusivity Award at the UK Youth Inspiring Hope Awards. You would be joining a supportive, friendly and dynamic staff team who are passionate about music and young people.
The role is based at NYO’s spacious and light offices near Holborn in central London. NYO has a hybrid working policy and offers a season ticket loan scheme, cycle-to-work scheme, health cash plan and 24/7 counselling and support helpline. There will be opportunities to attend NYO’s UK-wide concerts and activities, putting the Development team right in the midst of our beneficiaries and giving us an excellent understanding of the impact our work is having.
