Founded in 1882, The Royal College of Music (RCM) is a world leading music conservatoire with a prestigious history and contemporary outlook. Our excellence was recognised as we were ranked the global top institution for performing arts in the 2022 QS World University Rankings by Subject.

The RCM Development team raises significant support from individuals, companies, charitable trusts and foundations annually, ranging from £40 Friends memberships to seven figure gifts. The Development Operations Assistant will be based within the Operations team but will provide administrative assistance and database support across the wider Development team. The post holder will play an instrumental part in delivering key aspects of our fundraising:

• Financial administration, including philanthropic, membership and commercial income processing and reporting across the team
• Improve the accuracy and usability of the database (Raisers Edge) that underpins all Development activity
• Support stewardship practices, including donor acknowledgment
• Take responsibility for careful administration of direct-to-student grants

This post is offered on a full-time permanent basis and is available from December 2022.
