The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra is seeking to appoint a Director of Marketing and Communications to lead its marketing, digital and communications strategies. This post has particular responsibility for branding, advocacy, PR, digital development and, crucially, to restore the volume of ticket sales in Birmingham to pre-pandemic levels (c. £2.2million per annum) and to diversify and develop the CBSO’s audiences.
Having successfully emerged from the pandemic, the Orchestra has returned to full levels of activity across all areas of its work and amongst other strategic items, will roll out a rebrand and launch a new website in early 2023.
