Ensembles Administrator
Hallé Concerts Society £18,500 p.a. pro rata (50% FTE) Closing date 23 July 2021
We are looking for an approachable and organised Ensembles Administrator with a genuine interest in enabling children and young people to thrive and achieve.
The Ensembles Administrator will work under the direction of the Deputy Head of Ensembles and in collaboration with the Ensembles artistic and administrative teams to support our flourishing Ensembles programme. This role will support the work of all Hallé Ensembles but focus in particular on the Children’s and Youth Training Choirs, and Hallé Connect outreach work in schools and communities. Administrative tasks will facilitate the smooth running of rehearsals, auditions, projects and performances, and practical responsibilities will include pastoral care, project delivery on the day and being the first point of contact for people of all ages on behalf of the Hallé.
The post holder will initially be based remotely but, as public health regulations allow, will eventually operate from The Bridgewater Hall and Hallé St Peter’s in Manchester city centre. This role requires a degree of flexibility to working unusual hours to facilitate activities, and flexible working will be negotiable. There may be potential to increase working hours by mutual agreement in the future.
The Hallé takes equality, diversity and inclusion very seriously and welcomes applications from everyone. But simply having a diverse workforce is not enough. We want to build an inclusive environment, where everyone can develop to their full potential. We celebrate our differences, and recognise the importance of teams reflecting the activities and communities they serve.
