Events Assistant
Southbank Sinfonia at St John's Smith Square £22,000 Closing date 21 November 2022
This is a new and crucial role at the heart of the organisation, providing administrative support to Southbank Sinfonia at St John’s Smith Square, assisting the Operations Coordinator and the wider team in the production process of hire bookings and own-promotion events.
Your responsibilities will be varied, including:
- Liaising with hire clients to collect all necessary technical, marketing and programme information and input this in the team diary and Artifax database.
- Liaising with artists and partners for festivals and co-promotion events to arrange rehearsals and gather all technical and programme information. Ensuring that all details of the own- and co-promotion events are added to Artifax and kept up to date.
- Ensuring all technical and programme information for Southbank Sinfonia events at SJSS is added to Artifax and kept up to date.
Pay and Terms of Conditions
Part time (0.7 FTE), fixed term role (12 months)
Salary: £22,000 per annum pro rata for 0.7 FTE (actual salary £15,400)
Hours: 24.5 hours per week (not including breaks)
Annual Leave: 25 days per annum + statutory bank holidays, pro rata for 0.7 FTE
