Finance and Office Manager
Young Classical Artists Trust £30-34,000 (according to experience) pro rata Closing date 31 January 2022
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance and Office Manager to join YCAT on a part-time basis. This is a key position in the team and reports directly to the Chief Executive. Although the office is based in London, a large degree of flexibility through remote working will allow the role to be carried out elsewhere.
You will be an experienced Finance/Office Manager who is confident in taking responsibility for managing day-to-day aspects of the finance operations. Understanding the needs of a small organisation, you will be flexible and hands-on in your approach. You will ensure financial propriety of the organisation, providing support to the CEO and Board of Trustees on all matters relating to financial management and governance.
You will also work closely with the Development Manger and Artist Management team in all aspects of the charity’s ongoing work. Key areas of responsibility include financial operations and systems (general and artist focused), audit delivery, compliance with CompaniesHouse and the Charity Commission, payroll/pension monitoring and managing internal office and HR systems to support the CEO.
This position is ideally suited to an ambitious individual with a strong record of financial management. Either returning to the sector after a career break or for an individual looking to shape the future and help continue YCAT’s work in supporting the next generation of musicians at the start of their careers.
