Finance Assistant
National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain £24,000 Closing date 09 June 2022
NYO's vision is to to see the potential of every teenage musician in the UK unlocked through the power of orchestral music. We work alongside teenage musicians to open up orchestral music and share it with their generation.
We have an opportunity for a highly numerate and organised individual to join NYO's Finance & Operations team.
The Finance Assistant ensures the effective day-to-day processing of income and expenditure. With fundraised income contributing over 70% of the charity’s turnover, and a growing programme of activity, this role ensures that financial processes are delivered accurately and efficiently.
The role would particularly suit someone interested in pursuing a career in charity finance.
You would be joining a friendly and dynamic staff team who are passionate about music and young people. The role is based at NYO’s spacious and light offices near Holborn in central London (with some remote working by agreement) and there will be opportunities to attend NYO’s UK-wide concerts and activities. NYO offers a season ticket loan scheme, cycle-to-work scheme, health cash plan and 24/7 counselling and support helpline.
Visit our website to download the application pack. If you have any queries about the role, you are welcome to contact Tim Foxon via the email address below.
Although there is scope for this to be a full-time role, we are also open to receiving applications from candidates interested in part-time work.
