Finance Co-ordinator

National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain c. £26,000 dependent on experience Closing date 11 July 2022
Full-time, permanent contract (applications from candidates with a preference for part-time work will be considered)
Salary: c. £26,000 dependent on experience

NYO's vision is to to see the potential of every teenage musician in the UK unlocked through the power of orchestral music. We work alongside teenage musicians to open up orchestral music and share it with their generation.

We have an opportunity for a highly numerate and organised individual to join NYO's Finance & Operations team.

The Finance Co-ordinator ensures the effective day-to-day processing of income and expenditure. With fundraised income contributing over 70% of the charity’s turnover, and a growing programme of activity, this role ensures that financial processes are delivered accurately and efficiently.

Previous experience in charity finance is not essential; we are looking for an excellent administrator who is interested in developing their finance skills in a small but busy team.

You would be joining a friendly and dynamic staff team who are passionate about music and young people. The role is based at NYO’s spacious and light offices near Holborn in central London (with some remote working by agreement) and there will be opportunities to attend NYO’s UK-wide concerts and activities. NYO offers a season ticket loan scheme, cycle-to-work scheme, health cash plan and 24/7 counselling and support helpline.

Deadline for applications: 10am on Monday 11 July 2022
