Finance Director
Chineke! Foundation £42,000 - £48,000 Closing date 30 January 2023
The Chineke! Foundation is seeking a Finance Director to oversee all aspects of the financial management of Chineke!.
Work in co-ordination with the Senior Management team to identify and understand all future Chineke! projects and their finance needs, including the Activity Plan for Chineke!’s recently-confirmed status as a National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) with Arts Council England.
• Producing annual budgets and rolling forecasts for all Chineke! projects and overheads.
• Monthly book-keeping on QuickBooks.
• Running the monthly payroll, including PAYE/NI and pension payments.
• Making Gift Aid claims.
• Creating spreadsheets for player payments, and making payments in a timely manner after each project.
• Producing schedules, documents, contracts and other information for the annual audit carried out by Lubbock Fine.
• Calculating annual Orchestra Tax Relief claim.
• Working with the Development Director to establish detailed and realistic fundraising targets for each project.
• Submitting annual returns to Companies House and Charity Commission.
• Other financial tasks as required.
