Fundraising Co-ordinators (Part-time)
Ulster Orchestra £21,194.36 Pro-rata Closing date 22 December 2021
As a registered charity, the Orchestra relies on a variety of income streams, which includes funding from grants, donations, legacies and corporate sponsorship. We need tenacious fundraisers to help us increase our income from these sources. In this role, you will get the opportunity to work alongside some of the most accomplished musicians and arts professionals in the business as well as contributing to Northern Ireland’s cultural scene.
We currently have two opportunities to join the team:
Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator: this is a permanent part-time role, working alongside the Head of Marketing & Corporate Fundraising to develop and maintain good connections with sponsors and corporate members. You will be the first point of contact for current and prospective corporate members and individual donors, establishing and maintaining clear channels of communication and ensuring a high level of engagement.
Grants & Foundations Fundraising Co-ordinator: this is a temporary part-time role to cover maternity leave. You will work primarily alongside the Head of Community Engagement and Grants, maintaining relationships with trusts and foundations, local authorities and other networks and supporting all relevant funding requirements throughout the life of a grant.
Both roles require a high level of excellent communication skills, strong administrative and organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
We offer a range of competitive benefits such as pension membership, a health cash plan, and generous annual leave provision.
Further information on the job requirements, application and selection process can be found in the recruitment pack, along with benefits of working for the Orchestra. The recruitment pack can be downloaded from the Careers section of the Ulster Orchestra website, along with application and monitoring forms.
Please note, the closing date for applications is Wednesday 22nd December at 12pm and applications received after this date cannot be considered.
The Ulster Orchestra is committed to striving to be truly representative of all aspects of diversity and to offer a fully inclusive working environment. We are committed to equality of opportunity and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates, irrespective of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation. The appointment will be made on merit with openness and transparency of process.
