Head of Concerts & Production (maternity cover)

London Sinfonietta circa £32,000 per annum Closing date 21 June 2021
The Head of Concerts & Production is crucial to delivery of our programme, leading a busy and dedicated team producing all London Sinfonietta performance activity including season concerts, live digital productions, audio-visual capture of live performance events, UK and international tours, recordings and special projects. The role includes joint responsibility (shared with the Head of Participation & Learning) for planning and delivery of the London Sinfonietta’s Talent Development (artist development) programmes and also close working with the Digital Productions Manager in the planning and implementation of performance capture and other digital projects which are increasingly forming part of the organisation’s output for the public.

The Head of Concerts & Production is therefore a central role for the organisation, and we are looking for someone with a strong interest and enthusiasm for new music and extensive experience in the music sector with specific responsibilities for concert production, event delivery and orchestral/ensemble management.

This role is for a fixed term contract of up to 12 months to cover maternity leave. We are happy to discuss flexible working on a pro rata basis for the right candidate.
