Philharmonia Orchestra £42000 - £45000 Closing date 15 July 2021
The Philharmonia Orchestra is seeking an outstanding individual to nurture and develop the Philharmonia’s extensive series of residencies and relationships with major UK concert halls, and its diverse portfolio of external recordings, projects and film work, as well as seeking out new partnerships and other income streams for the organisation. This senior level appointment will help to re-launch the Orchestra to new and existing audiences after COVID-19 disruption, and play a key role in developing the profile of our new Principal Conductor, Santtu-Matias Rouvali.
The Head of Residencies and Engagements plays a crucial role at the Philharmonia. The successful candidate will have relevant managerial experience, excellent interpersonal, organisational and budgetary skills, and a passion for music of all genres. The post holder will work closely with the Directors of Artistic Planning, Marketing and Development to implement the engagement strategy. Willingness to work unsocial hours and to travel to concert venues outside London is essential.
