We are seeking to appoint an HR Analyst to join our small generalist HR team. The HR Analyst will have responsibility for producing data and improving the quality of the data we hold. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with HR experience to explore ways to improve the efficiency of HR processes and to enhance the experience of staff by making informed suggestions for improvements based on data.
A knowledge of HERA job evaluation would be desirable and an awareness and understanding of HESA Staff Returns would be advantageous. It is essential that applicants have prior experience of using HR databases, ideally iTrent, and of extracting data from an HR database.
We are a small generalist HR team so there will also be the opportunity to get involved with projects across HR and we would expect the postholder to make an active contribution both within the team and in support of College wide strategies and initiatives such as the EDI Strategy.
It is essential that applicants are clear and confident communicators able to answer routine queries and explain processes and procedures. Good IT skills, particularly Excel, are essential.
Applicants must be skilled at managing a busy workload and balancing conflicting priorities whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and attention to detail.
An awareness of employment legislation and an understanding of HR processes such as right to work checks, recruitment, and pensions administration would be desirable.
