IT Operations Manager

The Royal College of Music is seeking to recruit an IT Operations Manager who will be responsible for providing ICT services and support to staff and students, with day-to-day responsibility for the ICT infrastructure, operational contracts, cyber security, systems administration, and the help desk. The IT Operations Manager reports to the Head of IT and leads a team of six. The IT Manager supports the Head of IT by negotiating and managing operational contracts and budgets.

We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:

• You will be an experienced IT professional with experience of Microsoft Windows, Office 365 and Network maintenance, SQL servers and cloud technologies.
• You will have experience of IT Service Management and working to SLA’s.
• You will have a good understanding of cyber security challenges and how to minimise the risks and impacts.
• You will have with strong team management skills and effective delegation.
• You will have good project management stills.
• You will be committed to delivering an excellent service for our students and staff.
