LSO Discovery Artist Development Projects Coordinator
London Symphony Orchestra £22,000-£23,500 per annum, according to experience Closing date 10 January 2022
This role is a fixed-term contract starting as soon as possible until 31 August 2022
LSO Discovery is seeking a proactive and highly organised individual to support and co-ordinate projects within the Artist Development programme, which challenges and inspires new generations of exceptional performers and composers. The role works closely with three project managers to plan and deliver the LSO’s three composer development programmes (the Panufnik Composers Scheme, Soundhub and Jerwood Composer+); the Orchestral Artistry Masters programme in collaboration with the Guildhall School of Music & Drama; LSO Platform concerts for Guildhall students at the Barbican; String Experience scheme for students from London music colleges; Free Friday Lunchtime Concerts, and Discovery Days for adults.
The role is based in the LSO’s Barbican offices, and staff are currently working both remotely from home as well as from LSO offices as required.
Deadline for receipt of applications is 10am Monday 10 January 2022. Interviews will take place on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 January 2022.
