LSO On Track Projects Manager (maternity cover, 12-months, full time)

LSO Discovery is seeking a motivated arts professional with significant learning and participation experience to deliver and manage its flagship programme of activity in East London, LSO On Track, on a maternity cover basis. Working with local music education partners as part of their Music Education Hubs in Barking & Dagenham, Bexley, Greenwich, Hackney, Havering, Lewisham, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest, this post will focus on delivering and evolving the existing programme, whilst also managing the relationships with the LSO’s East London music services, and Hub Lead Organisation partners as the Arts Council Music Hub Investment programme evolves.

Encompassing coaching, performance and composition-based creative work with young instrumentalists, through to programmes for primary schools, CPD opportunities for teachers and opportunities for young people with learning disabilities, the LSO On Track programme represents excellence and diversity, supporting learning and broadening horizons for young people and music education practitioners.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, subject to experience + benefits.

The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Tuesday 20 June 2023.

First interviews will be held on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 June 2023 at the LSO’s offices at the Barbican Centre, with the option of an online (Zoom or Teams) interview for anyone who is unable to attend in person. Second interviews may be required.
