After six successful years of growth, and to help build our organisational and operational capacity, the Chineke! Foundation is seeking to appoint a Managing Director.
The Managing Director will be the day-to-day organisational and operational leader of Chineke!. They will work closely with the Founder and Artistic & Executive Director, Chi-chi Nwanoku OBE, to translate the vision into a strategic and operational plan and will be responsible for the smooth and healthy running of the organisation.
Reporting to the Chair of the Board, the Managing Director will ensure that the organisation is financially and operationally sustainable today and into the future and be responsible for Chineke!’s overall management including: artistic and learning & participation programmes, front and back of house operations including physical premises, financial and human resources, strategic growth and development. The Managing Director, working closely with the Artistic Director and dedicated, engaged Board members and passionate, talented staff, will ensure Chineke!’s current and long-term financial health through a combination of creative, energetic fundraising and earned revenue pursuits.
