The new role of Marketing Officer will work closely with the Chief Executive, and other members of the Orpheus Core Team in planning and executing Orpheus’s future. This role will be key in strategic development. It will focus on promotion of Orpheus and its work in all forms, seeking to develop the visibility and public awareness of the organisation. It will be material role in generating invaluable industry presence through which Orpheus can grow demand for its services and increase the audiences we are able to reach. The Marketing Officer will be responsible for implementing a mutually agreed Marketing Strategy and seeking to develop Orpheus’ brand.
Essential skills:
• Superb promotional writing and verbal skills • Proactive
• Organised
• Initiative taker
• Eye for immaculate presentation
You will have at least 3 years working experience in the performing arts industry or a relatable arts/education/charity field.
Desirable skills:
• Knowledge of the music industry.
• Knowledge of marketing.
• Design, Promotion and Branding experience.
You will report directly to the Chief Executive, who will instruct and develop the right candidate in this role. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to develop a unique and highly sought-after skill set. Freelance position, 0.5 - 1 day per week, flexible hours to be discussed. An initial 4-month role with scope for further development and continuation beyond that. This role will be working from home, with attendance at meetings as and when required.
