Association of British Orchestras

Marketing Operations and Audience Development Co-ordinator

London Mozart Players £24-28,000 Closing date 28 March 2022
London Mozart Players is looking for an experienced and organised CRM, ticketing and audience development co-ordinator to join our busy marketing and communications team. This important role sits within the LMP marketing department, but the postholder will work with the whole management team to develop LMP’s communication strategy with stakeholders and audiences.

This is a wide-ranging role in a busy but fun environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for the smooth-running of LMP’s day-to-day marketing, including the in-house box office and ticketing function, and related e-communications for concerts and events. This includes website updates, e-newsletters, evaluation surveys, analytics and related digital marketing. An important aspect of the role will be to work with the Senior Marketing Manager to bring LMP’s overall audience development strategy to fruition, with particular emphasis on building engagement with audiences for the orchestra’s residences in St John’s, Upper Norwood and Fairfield Halls, Croydon, ahead of Croydon’s year as the Borough of Culture in 2023.

Alongside the operational elements of the role, there will also be opportunities to get involved in creative marketing, including the marketing strategy and concert management for the Upper Norwood concert series, creation of concert programmes and other traditional marketing material, coordinating LMP’s print needs and being our main marketing liaison for external engagements. Part of the audience development role includes supporting our Education and Outreach Manager’s plans for an extensive digital and live music outreach programme, and to assist the Chair of our LMP Friends scheme with ongoing marketing and membership strategies.

The Marketing Operations and Audience Development Co-ordinator will report to the Senior Marketing Manager, working alongside LMP’s Digital Marketing Manager. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in the way in which we develop and communicate with audiences and other stakeholders.
