Membership and Operations Manager (part time)

The mission of the Association of British Orchestras’ (ABO) is to enable and support an innovative, collaborative and sustainable orchestral sector, and to provide advice, support, intelligence and information to the people who make British orchestras a global success.
The ABO is now looking to appoint a part time Membership and Operations Manager to join its small and busy team. This reshaped role oversees all aspects of the ABO’s member activities and services, and the systems and processes which underpin them, with a renewed emphasis on the development of the membership offer, and maximising member engagement with the services we provide.
The Membership and Operations Manager has a key role to play in delivering the ABO’s forward strategy, embedding an inclusive approach in the delivery of our events and programmes, and supporting the needs of our members. The post holder will develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of the sector through targeted data collection, maximising sector intelligence in order to develop innovative ways to increase engagement and growth.
We are looking for a strategic thinker, a problem solver and a creative self-starter who is results oriented and highly organised. Ideally, the post-holder will have experience of working for an orchestra or similar, strong IT and data management skills and a genuine enthusiasm for the work of the ABO.
