Module Leader – Entrepreneurial Musician (MMus)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, versatile and suitably qualified candidate to contribute to the teaching and examination within the MMus and BMus programmes in the following area:
MMus The Entrepreneurial Musician (Level 7) & BMus Artist as Entrepreneur (Level 6). The successful candidate should demonstrate knowledge and significant professional industry experience relating to the digital economy, start-ups, record labels, publishing, business plans, finance, strategy, marketing along with expertise relating to the ‘entrepreneurial toolbox’.
A postgraduate degree or equivalent in music or a cognate area is essential. You will evidence experience of teaching within higher music education, significant professional music industry, outstanding communication and organisational abilities, excellent IT skills and the capability to deal with a busy and varied workload, within a highly creative environment.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development and delivery of curriculum throughout the period of their appointment.
