Music Staff Fellowship (Fixed Term Contract)

English National Opera £36,147.50 pro rata Closing date 24 June 2022
English National Opera is founded on the belief that opera of the highest quality should be accessible to everyone and was set up to be for everyone. It is for this reason that we stage opera of the highest quality always sung in English. It is why we have ticket prices which are affordable, or free, if you’re under 18. It Is why we work with local communities to bring opera to people who might otherwise not experience it.

ENO’s ambition is to achieve greater diverse representation and this forms part of our inclusion strategy which will continue to evolve and develop over time to reflect the society in which we operate in our work on stage, in our audiences and in our workplace. This Fellowship was established to begin to address this issue. We strongly encourage applications from minorities, both in terms of ethnicity and women, in order to address under representation and gender balance at ENO.

As a member of the Music Staff you will make a vital contribution to the high musical standards of ENO, both in rehearsal and performance. You must have knowledge of the opera repertoire and possess excellent keyboard and interpersonal skills, with the potential to develop further in the opera industry. Please note that ENO rehearses and performs everything in English and we would expect the successful candidate to be comfortable working in the English language. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
