The Orchestra and Ensembles Manager holds a key role within the Performance team, working alongside Department Heads and Performance colleagues, the role is key in ensuring that the Faculty’s orchestral and large ensemble activity is organised effectively and that students approach their performance and ensemble training in a professional way. This is a demanding and varied position which encompasses significant personnel management as well as first line responsibility for orchestral librarian duties. The post-holder will contribute significantly to the conservatoire’s public image, assisting visiting and in-house conductors and artists and working closely with colleagues to ensure that rehearsals and performances run smoothly and reflect professional standards.
